JP Pieterson leaves his mark at CRFC
This article has been added after much demand from those in attendance at Sundays game. It has already gone down in Clondalkin folklore as the greatest try ever scored by a Clondalkin player in Division 2 of the Leinster League. The try was scored by Brian Bruiser Doyle but all credit must go to the one and only Alan Collier.

Having received the ball inside his own 22 the South African born flyer looked up to see a field of Blue Edenderry jerseys in front of him. Where a conventional winger would opt to kick for touch this eccentric individual, who looks like JP Pieterson, decided to do something that would earn him the accolade of his fellow first teamers and squad members alike. He set the move in motion by stepping his opposing winger in a style not seen since he started wearing half price clothes from JJB sports, took the ball on a few yards before evading the despairing covering tackle of the outside centre, motored up the pitch at speeds not seen since Usain Bolt broke the 100m record before finally drawing the fullback and passing to the strong running Doyle who cantered in for what is one of Clondalkins only two tries on Division 2 to date.
