A little bit about yourself:
Andy is the younger and some say better of the Tyndall brothers. He has represented Leinster all the way through the youths and looks the most likely canditate to fill the troublesome number 10 jersey for the first team in the years to come. He has made already made several appearances for the firsts and his performance against Carlow earlier this year was the most assured of anybody to wear the number 10 jersey all year. He is due to make a brief transfer out of the club at the end of the year but his progress will be well monitored by those who see him as the future first team number 10.
Name: Neil O'Hara
Height: 5 Foot 11 Inch
Weight: 16.5 Stone.
Position: Back Row or hooker.
Nickname: Pugs
Occupation: Sales Executive. Dreames to be like cux some day.
A little bit about Pugs:
When fit a dynamic player who brings injury to opponents who cross his path. A former second team player of the year Pugs is a relative new comer to the game and has taken well to the sport. He spectated at more games this year than he played but with Conor Maloney taking over as captain it is safe to assume Pugs will be back in training and looking to regain his form of two years back which had so many people talking about him with such high regard.
Name: Conor Moloney
Age: 23
Height: 6'0
Weight: 19st
Position: prop forward
School: Moyle Park College
Occupation: Car Sales
Nicknames: Malouie
Representative Cap's: 3 caps Irish Shamrocks tour two Newzeland,2 caps south dublin
A little bit about Conor:
Conor has been nominated as 1st team captain for the coming season. He is known around Leinster and beyond for his unbelieveable scrummaging capability. He is not as well known for his ball handling ability but this has been the undoing of many teams in the past. His skills would put many quality outhalfs to shame and have led to many people asking the question whether or not he really is an outhalf in a props body. Coaches Rob Hayes and Kenny O Brien will hope that the added responsibility associated with being captain will wake the sleeping giant into producing big performances on a regular basis this year.
Name: Mark Molloy
Age: 30
Height: 5' 2
Weight: 10st
Position: Versatile Back
School: Kings Hosptial
Occupation: Coach, Fitness guru, Team Consellor and part time fireman
Nicknames: Molly
A little bit about Mark:
Arguably the greatest player to have ever played for the club who has never been voted player of the year. Is it that he is not popular enough to recieve the players vote or is it that he is overlooked because of his slight stature? One may never know. The Marky vs Berry battle of recent years is reminiscent of the days when Ronan O'Gara battled David Humphreys for the Ireland number ten jersey. Will he one day give up the crown to the younger man in the same way Humphreys has done? The little man has led the team to promotion this year and will figure highly in the coaches plans for next year so it may be a few more years before we find out.
Name: Alaric Collier
Age: 32
Height: 6' 2
Weight: 15.5st
Position: Versatile Back
School: The High School Rathgar
Occupation: Hero
Nicknames: Huggy Bear, Ali Habana
A little bit about Ali:
This South African born utility back is in his second season with Clondalkin following a distingushed career playing for previous clubs Ashbourne, Tullow and Old Wesley. Ali has brought some colour to the Clondalkin backline since his arrival and it is argued he has the safest pair of hands around. A player who can run, kick and pass, Ali is famous for his tough ball carrying style of play and more infamous for his kicking game. His versatility has meant he has played every position from 10 to 15 this year but still there are no signs of the JP Pieterson lookalike joining the big boys in the forwards.
Name: Ciaran Collins
Age: 48
Height: 5’ 11
Weight: 16.0 st
Position: Prop
Hometown: RAF Lynam, Wast Rainham, England
School: C.B.S. Crumlin
College: Sterling University, Scotlans
Quote: vini vici vidi Rome 2002
A little bit about CC:
CC is yet another one of the Clondalkin props to defy the age old cliché that a prop comes into his prime at 28 and goes over the hill at 34. In contrast to his babyfaced team mates CC is packing down in the Clondalkin front row just two years short of his 50th birthday. Despite not being able to last the 80 minutes the way he used to, the former first team captain is certainly not over the hill. A testament to the longevity of his career is the fact that he was introduced off the bench in the recent towns cup defeat to Tullamore. This cameo appearance showed that he can still scrummage with the best of them, putting it up to his division 1 opponents. Based on this performance, it is highly unlikely that this will be CC’s last outing for Clondalkins elite outfit.
Name:Sean Brennan
Age:23
Height: 6' 3
Weight:16.3 st
Hometown: Clondalkin
School: Moyle Park
Position: 2nd Row
College: Brent Popes School of Rugby. New Zealand
Nickname: Bonesaw
A little bit about Sean:
Clondalkins own ladies man is a seasoned member of the first team squad having made his debut at the tender age of 17. Seanie has been an ever present in the team ever since and despite his pretty boy face he is without doubt one of the hardest players in Leinster Rugby. Feared by the opposition and respected by his fellow players, this respect was displayed most noteably when Sean was awarded the honour of picking his own nickname, an honour that has only been given to one player before in Clondalkin history, Bren Ward (Brendanto).
Name:Ollie MeGraw
Age:28
Height: 5' 9
Weight:13.5 st
Hometown: Clondalkin but born in Belfast
School: Moyle Park
Position: Hooker
College: IT Tallaght, NUI Maynooth, La Sorbonne Paris
Nicknames: The Red Mist
Quote:Thats not a high tackle......THIS IS A HIGH TACKLE!!
A little bit about ollie:
Known as a quiet reserved gentleman off the pitch and out of the Laurels, ollie undergoes a somewhat schizophrenic change when he pulls on a jersey or puts a drink to his lips. Out goes the former student of the Arts and in comes a reckless maniac who has little respect for his personal safety or for that matter the rules. Despite his lack of size and ill discipline, Ollie was a key factor in the Spencer Cup winning team of two years back with his bullseye accurate lineouts being the key weapon in the Clondalkin offence.
Name: Andrew Huetson
Age: 42
Weight: 14st
Height: 5’ 9”
Hometown: Yorkshire
School: Selby Grammar
College: Loughborough Uni
Position(s): very part-time Coach
Nickname(s): Andy (it’s really Zorro, but that flashing blade reference comes from cricket and you don’t know what that is, so we’ll let that lie)
A little bit about Andy:
Fly in and fortnightly visitor to Gordon Park , just lately only to bring the rain with him. Prefers 2½ hour training sessions mainly about defense. The only ever Englishman to serve behind the bar much to Kevin Laid’s eternal chagrin. Knows a bit about Bish, Bash, Bosh and claims to know Guy Easterby from when he carried his bag for him at Harrogate . If he’s not playing or coaching then he’s watching a video of the game. He’s certainly not shopping, hence why he is a great borrower of clothes and he never has a shower unless Finbar is training, so he can borrow his spare towel. His great hero is Brian Clough, so far he has only inherited the dress sense.
Name: Ciaran Cullen
Age: 25
Weight: 17st
Height: 6ft
Hometown: Clondalkin
School: Moyle Park
College: IT Tallaght, NCI
Position(s): Prop
Nickname(s): Cux,
Alter Ego: Frank
A little bit about Big Cux:
Ironically the oldest of the brothers, Big Cux is also the smallest. Big Cux captained Clondalkin to their finest moment with Clondalkin winning the Spencer Cup two years back. Cux's return to form in the early part of this season has played a key role in Newbridges fight for promotion. Its this return to form that forced Tom Duffys exit to Newbridge where Tom has shone for the division 2 outfit. This in itself is testimony to the quality of props at CRFC.

Weight: 18st
Height: 6ft 4in
Hometown: Clondalkin
School: Moyle Park
College: NUI Maynooth
Position(s): 2nd Row
Nickname(s): Kev Cux, Polar Bear
A little bit about Cux:
Kev is one of three brothers to have taken the field for Clondalkin. Some say he is a centre caught inside a second rows body while others say he just ate a centre during a game a few years back. He is known to have an impact when he carries the ball with Eddie being the latest to testify to that fact. He is one of the youngest players of the year having won the award back in 2005 at the tender age 20.

Weight: 14st 2
Height: 5ft 10
Home Town: Kilnamanagh
School: Drimnagh Castle
College: IT Tallaght
Position(s): Hooker/Flanker
NickName: Penguin
A little bit about Conor:
Conor is one of many talented young front rowers in the club, and has been pushing hard to move up the pecking order for the no.2 jersey. He has been keeping Bruiser and Ollie on their toes for the past three years and has made quite a number of 1st team appearances to boot. His achilles heal has long been his throwing but he has been working hard to rectify this problem which has been a key factor to the much improved second team line out of recent games.

Name: Shane Martens Age: 24
Weight: 13 stone 4 pounds
Height: 6'2"
Hometown: Dublin
School: St Andrews
College: Portobello
Position(s): Scrum Half
Nickname(s): Eddie. Edwardo. Ed.
A little bit about Eddie:
Eddie has showed that there is a touch of class in him this season with 4 tries. That coupled with a 70% kicking record so far this year has helped cover up his defensive ineptness. And yes ladies he is single.
Name: Patrick Ryan

Height: 5 foot 11
Hometown: Castletown, Laois
School:Roscrea Prep School
College: NUIG & GMIT
Position(s): Centre, Wing, Fullback & Outhalf
Nickname(s): Mousey
A little bit about Patrick:
Mousey is Clondalkin 2nds very own import having made the transfer from Ballina 2 seasons back. Despite the difficulties with his accent experienced by many he settled in quiet well last season finish out top try scorer for the seconds. He is currently travelling the world but should be back for next season to add something to a backline that has been overshadowed by the more than impressive pack all this year.

Height: 6 foot 3

Nickname(s): Big Dan/ Batista
A little bit about Dan:
Dan has been the driving force behind much of what has been good about the seconds this year. As the captain, he has led by example on and off the field and is feared throughout the league for his trademark high impact style of play. He is also the envy of the other firemen up the club having rescued more cats from trees this year than Ali, Stevey and Marty combined.
