Fun Run Day Saturday 23rd of August
To All and Youth and Mini Members:
Each new rugby season CRFC has traditionally started with a Family Fun day and BBQ. This year we have decided to add in a little extra to this and will have a Family Fun-Run day and a BBQ to follow.
On Saturday 23rd of August we will hold the fun run in Corkagh Park playing fields and following this we will have a BBQ and fun events in the club later in the afternoon. This Fun Run will be sponsored, so we need all mini and youth members to get sponsored to raise much needed funds for the day to day club expenses for all teams. Senior members are needed to volunteer to help organise the run. Sponsor forms are in the club which is open for training on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.
The sponsored run will be starting at 2:30pm in the new car park (map with sponsor cards) and first runners will be the players from the 6-10 age group with any parents who wish to take part. At 3pm the 11-14 year olds will begin there run, followed by the 15 to 18 year old group at 3:30pm There will be age group prizes, spot prizes and winners prizes, and a prize for the most sponsors (a Foosball table).
So get your sponsor cards and get running.
when each group finishes the course they will go to the club house where bouncing castles, games and a BBQ will be waiting.
Hope to see you all on Saturday 23rd of August.
Winston Jebb
Club President

Belvo Blitz 12th /13th April
Our U7s took part in the Belvo Blitz this weekend and played in a group with Athy, Seapoint and Lansdown. It was the first Blitz this team had played in and they had a good outing. The team was warmly supported by parents and family and their coaches Peter, Mark and Brendan. Our U9s who were as a team playing in their first Blitz drew a tough group with Blackrock, Naas and Seapoint. The team played with skill and determination and were cheered on by family , friends and the coaches Brendan, Vernon, Bill, Baahiun,Peter and our fist aider Yvonne. Special thanks to Dee for the refreshments and sandwiches.Comments (0) Added by April 14, 2008 (9:30PM)
U7s & U9s Good day in Rathoath RFC
On Sunday the 6th April a team of cars ferrying our 30 players in the U7s and U9s team left Gordon Park for Rathoath RFC. Whilst the weather was cold, make that very cold and windy the welcome was very warm and friendly. Both our teams got to play Rathoath and Balbriggan, each team had three matches, all of which were competitive with Clondalkin aquiting themselves well. Thank you to Rathoath for the invitation and the warm welcome, this was a good preparation for both our teams ahead of this weeks Belvo Blitz.Comments (0) Added by April 8, 2008 (3:37PM)
