Mini Rugby News Update

  • Registration: Most players have now been registered. If you have not got a form or have misplaced it please ask your child’s coach. The cost for the year including IRFU fee is €40.
  • 5000 Tackles Next Sunday 18th October: This is our chance for fame and glory and to get our names in the Guinness Book of records. Each of our Mini and Youth teams will be taking part in our attempt to make 5,000 tackles and set a new world record. This was great fun last year and hopefully we will break the record and raise even more money for the club. Sponsorship cards will be given out this Sunday and returned to your players coach as soon after the event as possible. Last year the hugely successful event raised over 8,500 euro for mini & Club Rugby,
  • Visit to Baldonnell Tuesday 27th October. Thanks to the captain of Clondalkin’s 1st team Dan Fitzpatrick all our mini rugby players are invited to a tour of Baldonnell Aerodrome, our players will get to visit the armoury and see at first hand the planes and helicopters used by our Aer Corp. The day will start at 11:30am and finish at 2:30pm, lunch is kindly being provided by the Aer Corp. Please confirm with your child’s coach by next Sunday 18th if your child can make it and if you will be attending with them also. There is no cost for this event.
  • November 1st is the Kick Off for the League matches for our U9s – U11s The draw for who will be playing who will be made in the coming week and details will be shared when we know but it starts on the 1st November.

  • Hire of the Club House: Members including mini rugby players family can hire out the club house for birthdays and all other celebrations.
  • New Players: New players are always very welcome why not encourage your child’s friends , classmates, your niece or nephew to come along on Sunday morning and try out mini rugby, its great for learning new skills, having fun and being part of a team in a safe and enjoyable environment.
