Team for Lalor Cup Final Announced

The team for the Lalor Cup final was announced as follows:

Forwards:Shrek, Ollie MeGrew, Simon Comiskey, Bren Ward, Finbarr Butler, Maurice Featherstone, Paul Hickey and Kevin Cullen (c).

Backs:Mark Duggan, Andy Tyndall, Dave Behan, Phily Byrne, Paul Fitzgerald, Lee Beresford and Alaric Collier.

Subs: Conor 'The Real Big Dog' Maloney, Gary Geoghan, Steven McKenna, David Gaule and Carl Horan.

Current second team captain Kevin Cullen has urged all members and friends of the club to make the short trip to Athy rugby club for Saturdays game. Cullen had the following to say, "This is the first final that the 2nd team have been in for as long as i've been in the club so its a big day as far as i'm concerned. We had to make some tough calls leaving some players out of the game while others were unlucky to miss out through injury. That said we are fielding a very strong side and we have the belief that we can win this game. Its going to be tight against opposition two divisions above us so it may very well come down to the 16th man and i'm sure Clondalkin will be well represnted here. I would urge Those who are attending to wear club colours on the day".
