Captains 2011/2012

Applications for the position of Club Captain, 2^nd XV, 3^rd XV, 4^th XV and Women’s XV team captains respectively are invited. Expressions of interest must be submitted to the Hon. Secretary, Conor Steed (csteed@eircom.net / 086-8352594) no later than 13^th May 2011.  Prospective applicants will be invited to an interview conducted by three members of the Rugby Committee.  The purpose of the interview is to assess each candidate’s suitability for the position and to assess their understanding of, and commitment to the position.  Having met all the candidates the Rugby Committee will make a recommendation to the candidates of their suitability.  If there is more than one suitable candidate, selection will be by election by paid up members at the AGM on 18^th May 2011.

Please note that no nominations will be accepted on the night of the AGM or after the closing date of 12.00 pm 13^th May 2011.

Attached is a job specification for the position of Captain which the Committee feels would be helpful to any prospective candidates to frame their application.
