Special thanks to our friends in Italy

A big thank you to my close friends Franchesco and Roberto from Tradate RFC in Northern Italy. They extended me and my son Stephen a warm welcome to their club on February 21st on the eve of the recent Ireland Italy international. A good time was had and the following weekend Roberto played his first game for the club. As you can see from the photo the tradition is for the ‘new cap’ to have his back signed by all his team mates in permanent marker which he can not wash off until his next training session. Again a big thanks and there is always a welcome for you and your friends in Clondalkin RFC.
